Why The Internet Is Any Business Owners Best Friend

In the year 2019, you think everyone would be using the internet for connecting, leisure, and of course their business, right?

Many business owners overlook the power of the internet for their business, and in turn, leave a lot of money on the table. My name is Jacob Handley, I am a full stack marketer and the CEO of North8 Agency. I have worked with over 600 clients in the last 5 years and spent over $2.5M in advertising (yes with a M).

As someone who has made their living from the internet and a six-figure earner from the internet since they were 15, I can tell you I have yet to run across a niche or industry that cannot benefit from the internet in some shape or form, if not completely transform your business with it.

Since the start of 2019, I have signed marketing contracts with about 5 new companies, some being new some being international chains. Unless you completely understand marketing chances are your lacking/slacking or missing out on some stuff. From social media to PPC to retargeting to PR/Influencers to SEO. The list goes on and on, and on top of that, you are trying to run a business.

I could go on and on how much marketing there is to do, but let me tell you what you really care about,

A brief case study, my team and I recently took on a dating app as a client with a recent funding round for about $300,000. The goal was to reach X amount of users on a predetermined budget so they could receive more funding. We did that, then some. They invested $50,000 into us and met their goals and received an additional $2,000,000 in funding.

But what did we do? We broke it down, step by step. From redoing their website, their ad copy, their ad targeting, their retargeting, their social media content, their PR releases. 100’s of hours of work, that is what people don’t understand. You could hire the best team of marketers in the world to drive traffic and people to your service or product.

Where you sending these people is the other half, are you speaking to your demographic, is there clear CTA’s, do they understand what you are trying to get you to do, does your offering provide them value enough to exchange money or their information for it?

Make an investment in your business, and get your marketing up.
